The Bible has the uniqueness of predicting future
events in advance sometimes thousands of years prior. The only book that
makes such a claim for us to examine! Is this book from the true Creator
of all things? Would you not need an infinite being to be present when the
prophecy is made and also present thousands of years later to bring it to
pass? If this is so, then every other Bible verse is spiritual truth and
an accurate description of who God is, who man is, the origins of
creation, the entrance of sin into the human race, the existence of devils
and angels and how all things will end!
From the Cross to the Rapture to the Second Coming
highlighting the significant events with scripture references. I believe
we are the Fig Tree generation and will see these end time events
fulfilled. Moral deterioration as in the days of Noah and Lot will
characterize the last generation. Events will accelerate like the birth
pangs of a woman giving birth as we near the end. One needs to be "born
again" spiritually to miss the last 7 years of Daniel described in
Revelation chapter 6-19.
There is debate on the exact date of the decree to
rebuild Jerusalem by the Persian King Artaxerxes, the actual birth of
Jesus and the actual date of the cross but the basic picture and duration
of the 70 weeks of Daniel is accurate. I have used the calculations from
the book The Coming Prince by Sir Robert Anderson.
God promised to Daniel 70 weeks or 490 years to
bring in the atonement for sin, to bring in the Messiah reigning for 1,000
years from Jerusalem. When Israel rejected their Messiah when he came the
first time after 483 years God suspended the time count while he called
out a people from the Gentiles for the last 2,000 years. We are concluding
that the Church Age is coming to an end as we see the stage being set for
the fulfillment of the last 7 years for Israel. Israel's rebirth in May
14, 1948 is the super sign that began the countdown to final events. The
last generation so to speak!

I don't think many people realize that all the land
of the earth belongs to the Lord Jesus and He gives it to who he wants.
The promised land which is currently being contested by many nations
opposing Israel was given to them as a permanent possession. One condition
for Israel was following the Lord, if they disobeyed He would eject them
from the land for different periods of time. They were exiled to Assyria,
Babylon and then lastly to all the nations but in this generation He has
brought them back. The final showdown between Israel and the nations,
between Jesus and Satan is on the horizon. You can guess who loses! Better
humble yourself and turn to Jesus and support Israel. Anything else makes
you an enemy of God and He will vanquish you from His Son's approaching
1,000 year kingdom!
Now the LORD had said unto Abram, Get
thee out of thy country, and from thy kindred, and from thy father's
house, unto a land that I will shew thee:
Genesis 12 v 2,3
2 And I will make of thee a great
nation, and I will bless thee, and make thy name great; and thou shalt be
a blessing:
3 And I will bless them that bless thee,
and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the
earth be blessed.
Zephaniah 3v8
Therefore wait ye upon me, saith the LORD, until the day that I rise up
to the prey: for my determination is to gather the nations, that I may
assemble the kingdoms, to pour upon them mine indignation, even all my
fierce anger: for all the earth shall be devoured with the fire of my
jealousy.
Zechariah 12 v 8-10
8 In that day shall the LORD defend the
inhabitants of Jerusalem; and he that is feeble
among them at that day shall be as David; and
the house of David shall be as God, as the
angel of the LORD before them.
9 And it shall come to pass in that day,
that I will seek to destroy all the nations that come against
Jerusalem.
10 And I will pour upon the house of
David, and upon the inhabitants of
Jerusalem, the spirit of grace and of
supplications: and they shall look upon me whom they have pierced
Zechariah 14 v 2-4,9
2 For I will gather all nations against
Jerusalem to battle; and the city shall be
taken, and the houses rifled, and the women ravished; and half of the city
shall go forth into captivity, and the residue of the people shall not be
cut off from the city.
3 Then shall the LORD go forth, and
fight against those nations, as when he fought in the day of battle.
4 And his feet shall stand in that day
upon the mount of Olives,
9 And
the LORD shall be king over all the earth: in that day shall there be one
LORD, and his name one.
Covering from the perfect creation,
canopied earth with greenhouse growing conditions and full genetic
potential being realized, to the fall of man bringing physical and
spiritual death, to God's promise to bring a Messiah to undo the fall
through the descendents of Abram and Israel, we trace the significant
events through history to the cross!
